From the opening slide guitar assault of "right to choose" to the funereal march of "funeral for a french fry", this tape covers huge amounts of territory, both musically and lyrically...........

working mainly in a full band format of two guitars, bass and drums, the group dances freely about, with passion and power, images flying like spit from a caffeine intoxicated lunatic.....group members rotate instruments freely, more often than not winding up on something they really haven't played too much, giving the tunes a sense of beginners mind not normally found in recorded music.................beatlesque overtones lurk about in the viola playing of "biped", while the free form white noise of "choked by your intellect" pays homage to anyone who has ever revelled in the joy of being loud.............

once again, recorded at soundworks studios in watertown mass. with the help of a rented hammond organ and leslie speaker........and for the first time since grammar school the clarinet was dusted off, reassembled, spray painted lime green and honked on without mercy.........while didjeridoo pulses beneath the slow groove of "leggo my ego" and a rusted chain keeps time in "playpen for zen"................deep, but not so much that you have to be afraid of drowning.........and, as always, the joy of great vocals..............

"this is my favorite tape, brave bravery...."-Ken Spreen, Red Records

"it's ok, but the line about the wings of stone, that's gotta go. that's not right. wings of stone. no." -Professional Graduate Student, Boston, Mass.

"this sounds a lot like my dreams, especially if i've eaten right before bed."- Patricia Roland, Yoga Instructor
