A fter much controversy and many delays, nobody finally releases their long awaited second tape of 1999, called: nametag for playgroup. We have been listening to and playing a TOn of bluegrass, which will mean nothing to you unless you actually listen to this tape........perhaps that explains why there is so much electric guitar on this album, or maybe it's just because one of the sans-amps blew up and gave us a very addicting and user friendly distortion sound. On the other hand, there is a real nice vocal heavy gospel version of the early nobody song 'so far away' which originally appeared in a much different form on the very first nobody album released in 1988 titled "Wide Awake in a Sleeping World"........if nothing else, it's worth it just to get this tape and the original to compare the two versions of this song! Or at least that's what Leigh Calabrese said.......Other highlights include two versions of the soon to be #1 dance hit "UDTSZ"* featuring "hollywood" brian melillo and the nearly legendary "roger" bolger......and the 100 acoustic guitar tracks on 'birthing party for alanis morissette', to say nothing of the non-descript nature of "non descript man". Order your copy today! Operators are standing by.....

*editor's note: some one recommended that it might be a good idea to explain the origin of the song 'UDTSZ'. so here goes. UDTSZ is an attempt to phonetically spell out the sound of the drum machines used in much of the horrid dance club techno house type 'music'. as we were discussing this sound, and trying to imitate it, brian began to say 'udtsz' , which sounds best with the mouth closed and half swallowed, and which captures the sound of these drum machines almost perfectly. and so the backing track of both of these songs is brian repeating the word 'udtsz', which we then looped and used as a human drum machine imitating a really bad techno house dance drum machine. add lots of other overdubs, and there you have it. version #2 features a message which was left on my answering machine. and so on..............
